Daylee + Dejuan | Spring Engagements Lucky Spur Ranch Justin, Texas

Some stories just feel like home—and this one sure does. I first met Daylee back when she was a senior in high school, and over the years, I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing her sweet family more times than I can count. So when she reached out to tell me she was engaged and wanted me to capture this next chapter… y’all, my heart just melted.

Her family, owners of Lucky Spur Ranch Retreat, have been one of my biggest blessings—not just for trusting me with their memories, but for sending so many kind-hearted, wonderful couples my way over the years. Their support has meant more than they probably even know, and I’m so thankful to have been part of their lives for so long.

I met Daylee + Dejuan at one of my favorite tucked-away spots for their engagement session—a little slice of Texas heaven filled with wildflowers, golden light, and just the right amount of breeze. Nothing fancy, just nature doing its thing and two people madly in love.

And speaking of love… watching Dajuan with Daylee was something special. I hadn’t known him long, but within minutes, it was clear as day—he is absolutely smitten. Their connection is so natural and easy. The laughter, the glances, the quiet in-between moments… it all came together in the sweetest way.

Their wedding is set for Spring 2026 at Lucky Spur Ranch— and you better believe I’m counting down the days. Being asked to photograph it is the kind of honor that sticks with you. Daylee + Dajuan, thank you for letting me walk this road with y’all. Let’s make some magic next spring!!

Cass + Chris | Old Town Lewisville Engagement

There are some folks you meet and within minutes, you just know… they’re your people. That’s exactly how it felt with Cass and Chris. From the very first phone call, Cass was kind, thoughtful, and completely intentional. I could hear in her voice that she wasn’t just planning a wedding—she was building a story, and she wanted me to help tell it. She’d seen my work at Lucky Spur Ranch and made it clear—she wasn’t settling for anyone else. And y’all… when someone fights for you to be part of something that sacred, it stays with you.

We planned their engagement session in Old Town Lewisville—my heart place, full of charm and history—and watching the way these two moved through it together just made it shine even brighter. They’re the kind of couple who feel like home to each other. Calm. Certain. Joyful. The way they laugh together is easy, but the way they look at each other? That’s something deeper.

Since they both live in the fitness world, we mixed in a little playfulness (including a water pistol fight at sunset, because why not?)—but in between the laughter, I kept catching these quiet moments. Moments where Chris would look at Cass like nothing else in the world existed. Like he couldn’t believe he gets to call her his.

They’re saying “I do” this September at Lucky Spur Ranch, and honestly, I can’t imagine a better place for a love like this to begin its next chapter. Southern hospitality, wide open skies, and a kind of love that feels like it was written in the stars.

Cass and Chris—y’all are something special. And I’m so honored to be on this journey with you.

Ali + Keagan | Spring Engagement - Lucky Spur Ranch

Y’all, I cannot get over how perfect these two were during their engagement session! Ali and Keagan met me out in the fresh spring air, and we had the absolute best time soaking up golden light, wide Texas skies, and a whole lot of laughter. She was radiant in her white cotton dress, effortlessly graceful with that soft southern charm. And Keagan? The definition of a cowboy heartthrob — boots, hat, and that look in his eyes that never left Ali.

Their chemistry was undeniable. From playful twirls in the grass to the sweet, quiet moments under the oak trees, you could see how deeply they adore each other. These two aren’t just planning a wedding — they’re building a life grounded in service and love. Both are first responders, and y’all know my heart has a soft spot for my first responder family. Getting to capture this season for them felt like photographing two real-life heroes with hearts of gold.

We wandered from grassy meadows to dreamy wildflowers - Every frame felt like a country love song come to life. And next January, they’ll be saying “I do” at Lucky Spur Ranch — My favorite venue for a couple this authentic and down-to-earth.

And of course… in true Blackall fashion, we had to end things with an epic water pistol fight! Because if you’re gonna love someone for the rest of your life, you better be able to laugh, get a little soaked, and have a blast doing it.

Ali and Keagan, thank you for trusting me with your story. If this session is any hint of what your wedding day will feel like, we’re all in for something really special.

Josh + Caroline | Watters Creek Village Elopement

Josh + Caroline | A Thursday Elopement at Watters Creek

Some wedding days come wrapped in details and timelines, guest lists and centerpieces. And then… there are days like this. The kind that unfold with ease, carried only by love, laughter, and the people who mean the most.

Josh and Caroline’s Thursday evening elopement at Watters Creek was the very definition of soul-soothing simplicity.

There was no big production. No venue to rush to. No rigid schedule. Just the two of them, a place they love, and a crew of family and friends gathered on the lawn to witness something beautiful. They walked out to the edge of the creek—just steps from where they live—to say “I do” under the trees and soft spring breeze.

Caroline, who practically radiated joy, wore a dress she made with her own two hands (yes, you read that right—she made her own wedding dress!). The delicate lace and vintage length suited her perfectly. And Josh? That grin never left his face. From the moment he saw her, it was all heart eyes and quiet pride.

Their celebration was lighthearted and joyful. Guests cheered, hugged, and danced in a semi-circle around the newlyweds. Friends wrapped them up in love, and you could tell—this wasn’t just a marriage. It was a moment for a whole community of people who care deeply for them both.

We took portraits along the stone paths, in front of the little waterfall, and among the trees that line the walking trail—each one a picture of peace and happiness. And as the sun started to dip, Josh and Caroline headed up to their own back patio for the final photo of the night, pup in hand, beaming from ear to ear.

What a perfect way to end the evening: the start of forever, celebrated at home, with a dog and a dream.

A huge thank you to Watters Creek Village for being so kind and allowing Josh and Caroline to hold this special moment in a place they love so dearly. And to The Lion & Crown Public House for hosting their cozy, laughter-filled reception—your hospitality helped make the evening unforgettable.

Stacy + Paul | Engaged - Old Town Lewisville

Y’all, if you’ve ever needed a reminder that love and laughter are the best combo — let me introduce you to Stacy and Paul! These two are tying the knot next March right here in Old Town Lewisville at Royal Affairs Ballroom, and I already know it’s going to be one for the books. Since Old Town holds a special place in their hearts, we decided to make their engagement session a full-blown OTL tour—Blackall-style, of course.

From strolling down Main Street to dancing in front of our local shops, this session was nonstop fun. We cracked up so much there were literal tears in our eyes—and yes, I now have solid proof that I am funny, despite what that Cowboy of mine says! Haha! There’s just something magical about sharing our charming little town with couples who love it as much as I do. Every corner, every building, every light pole—it’s all home.

What made this session even more special? Stacy is intentionally choosing some of the very best Old Lewisville vendors for her wedding day, and let me tell you, that makes my OTL heart burst with joy. Supporting local and celebrating love right here in our own backyard—it doesn’t get better than that.

I already can’t wait for her bridal session coming up, and I’ve got a countdown going for their big day next spring. Until then, I’ll be smiling every time I think back on this session and all the sweet, silly, joyful moments we shared.

Stacy and Paul, y’all are the real deal—and I’m so dang lucky to be the one capturing it all.

Brittany & Greg | A Southern Love Story at Lucky Spur Ranch

Lucky Spur Ranch

There’s just something about a wedding at Lucky Spur Ranch—where the air feels a little sweeter, the skies stretch a little wider, and the hospitality wraps around you like the perfect Texas porch. It’s more than a venue; it’s an experience. And Brittany & Greg’s day? One for the books!

These two kicked things off with a surprise private ceremony—just the two of them and a few of their nearest and dearest. It was heartfelt, intentional, and oh-so-romantic. And y’all, right as the ceremony was about to begin, the skies—which had been stormy all morning—parted like a scene straight out of a movie. The sun peeked through, casting the most beautiful glow over their vows. It was nothing short of a blessing. And then? They turned around and threw an unforgettable party for the rest of their people.

Mechanical bull? ✅ Real Texas Longhorns? ✅ Beer Burros? ✅ A live band? ✅

The best kind of energy from start to finish? Absolutely!!

Now, let’s talk about our little adventure. Right before the party kicked off, we snuck away for a quick jaunt out to where the longhorns roam. It was peaceful, dreamy… until one particularly sassy longhorn decided Greg looked like he needed a little love tap. Don’t worry—no grooms were harmed in the making of these epic photos. Totally worth it. Those images? Unforgettable.

Brittany walked down the aisle to Turning Page by Sleeping at Last, and sealed the deal with Greg to The Painter by Cody Johnson—a perfect Texas touch. One of the sweetest elements? Their display of family and guest wedding photos. It added a touch of nostalgia and a whole lot of heart.

Their color palette, inspired by Brittany’s love of blue, paired beautifully with the ranch’s rustic charm. And when I say the food was out-of-this-world, I mean it—LS Catering consistently delivers the best food you’ll find at any venue in DFW.

To the team at Lucky Spur Ranch—thank you. Truly. Your support means the world to me. Y’all go above and beyond for every couple, and it shows in every single detail. I’m lucky to work with y’all, and even luckier to call you friends. And on the note of amazing friends, I have to give a BIG thank you to JENNA my ride-or-die associate photographer - she speaks Kelly fluently and I’m so grateful for her hard work and dedication over the years! 🏆

Jessica & Jonathan’s Engagement Session | Old Town Lewisville

There’s something so special about blending two families into one, and Jessica & Jonathan’s engagement session was a beautiful reflection of just that. With their wedding this summer at Magnolia Terrace, this session wasn’t just about the two of them—it was about celebrating the love that will bring them ALL together.

We met up in Old Town Lewisville, where the redbuds were showing off in full bloom, adding the perfect pop of color to their session. And of course, I had to take full advantage of that! But the real magic? That came with the three incredible kids who joined us—Jessica’s daughter, Emma, and Jonathan’s daughter & son, MJ & Ivan. They brought energy, laughter, and a whole lot of fun, making this session even more memorable.

Capturing a love story like Jessica & Jonathan’s means finding those in-between moments—the stolen glances, the way they light up around each other, and the undeniable bond between them and their kids. And because no session with me is complete without a little adventure, I got them all in the water for some fun shots. Let’s just say, they were all in and made the most of every second!

Jessica & Jonathan, your wedding day at Magnolia Terrace is going to be nothing short of amazing, and I cannot wait to document the next chapter of your love story! Until then, enjoy every moment of this season—you’ve got something truly special.

Stephen & Ashley | Engaged

Oh, y’all, this one is extra special! Stephen & Ashley’s engagement session was a dream—full of love, laughter, and two of the cutest four-legged scene-stealers I’ve ever met! Their sweet pups totally took over in the best way possible, and I was not mad about it.

Stephen just slightly ;) taller than Ashley, which just makes their love story even cuter. Every time he looked down at her, you could just see how much he adores her. And Ashley? She lights up around him in a way that makes my photographer heart so happy! Their connection is effortless, and capturing it was such a joy.

And speaking of joy… I may or may not have made them race. Because why not?! And let me tell you—Stephen did not let Ashley win. 😂 He took off like it was the Olympics, and she was left laughing (and probably a little annoyed). But let’s be real—she totally knew what she was getting into with him! Just one more reason why these two are so perfect together.

This wedding is going to be extra special for me because I’ve been photographing Stephen’s brother, Charlie, and his beautiful wife, Jessica, and their two kiddos for years. This family is part of our fire family, and keeping it all in the family just makes my heart so full. Watching these big life moments unfold for them is the best part of what I do.

Stephen & Ashley are tying the knot this May, and if their engagement session was any indication, their wedding day is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to celebrate with them, their sweet pups, and all their loved ones. May can’t get here fast enough!

Stay tuned—this one’s going to be good! ❤️🔥

Elijah + Courtney: A Southern Love Story at Barnett Estates

Elijah and Courtney’s wedding at Barnett Estates was a true reflection of their love—warm, adventurous, and full of Southern charm. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this day would be one to remember, filled with laughter, joy, and a celebration of family and love.

There was something so special about watching these two together—how they look at each other, the way they laugh, and the deep connection that runs through them. The first look, in particular, was such a meaningful moment for Eli. He’d been eagerly awaiting the chance to see Courtney for the first time in her wedding dress, and when the moment arrived, his excitement was palpable. As he turned around and saw her, you could see the joy and love in his eyes, a perfect reflection of the life they are about to begin together.

Courtney’s first look with her dad was equally special. The emotion on both their faces as she stepped into the moment was unforgettable. It wasn’t just about her walking down the aisle later—it was about her dad seeing his daughter as a bride, embarking on her next adventure, and marking the moment as one filled with pride and joy.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Eli and his family for about 20 years, and it made this day all the more meaningful to witness Eli marry the woman of his dreams. To watch a young man I’ve known for so long find his soulmate and begin this new chapter with Courtney was such a powerful, emotional moment. To be trusted with capturing these precious memories was truly an honor, and it meant the world to me to be a part of such a special occasion.

As the night went on, the celebration continued, with plenty of dancing, laughter, and heartfelt moments shared among friends and family. But it was the grand exit that truly capped off this unforgettable day. As fireworks lit up the night sky and sparklers glimmered all around them, Eli and Courtney made their way to their monster truck getaway ride. The sounds of the fireworks, the cheers from their loved ones, and their beaming smiles made for a perfect, adventurous send-off. It was a moment that perfectly reflected the love and excitement that will carry them through life together.

Courtney | Bridal - Elegance, a Horse Named Creed, and a Whole Lot of Magic

Courtney’s bridal session was pure perfection from start to finish! We kicked things off at her ranch, where the natural beauty of the land paired beautifully with her stunning gown. And let me tell you, her horse, Creed, was a total showstopper!

Courtney’s bond with Creed was undeniable, and incorporating him into her session made everything feel so personal and heartfelt. He stood tall and proud beside his bride, adding a unique touch that made these portraits truly unforgettable. Whether she was walking alongside him, leaning in for a sweet nuzzle, or standing gracefully as Creed posed like the pro he is, every moment was magic.

From there, we headed to Barnett Estates to add a bit of rustic elegance to the session. The venue’s warm, golden tones and rustic textures created the perfect backdrop for Courtney’s graceful presence. The way the light danced through the trees and around her flowing veil was absolutely breathtaking.

Speaking of that veil—Courtney’s mom deserves a huge round of applause! She came along not just to enjoy the day but to help with those epic veil-toss shots. Thanks to her expert tossing skills (and maybe a few giggles along the way), we captured that perfect “veil blowing in the wind” look that every bride loves

Courtney, you were radiant, and this session was a reflection of your beauty, inside and out. I feel so lucky to have captured these special moments, and I cannot wait to celebrate your big day with you!

📸 Keep an eye out for more from Courtney’s wedding—it’s going to be nothing short of amazing!

Alexandre & Adrianna | Engaged

Alexandre and Adrianna’s engagement session at the Fort Worth Stockyards was absolutely one for the books! Despite a bit of a rocky start with a flat tire, Alexandre proved to be the hero of the day. Not only did he get them back on track in no time, but he did it in style, pulling up in his impressive Ram dually. I liked it so much that we even captured a few shots with it at the end—what a perfect way to wrap up the session!

Once we got rolling, the Stockyards provided the kind of charm only Texas can deliver. The cobblestone streets, rustic storefronts, and wide-open skies were a perfect match for Alexandre and Adrianna’s adventurous love story. Every corner of this historic gem seemed to echo their joy, from the way they laughed at each other’s jokes to those quiet moments when their love spoke louder than words.

They even introduced me to a couple of tucked-away spots I hadn’t stumbled upon before. It was like getting a private tour from two locals who knew just where the best magic happens. And let me tell y’all, Alexandre and Adrianna made my job easy—posing naturally, laughing often, and giving me all the feels with their sweet glances and tender moments.

Their wedding next May at Lucky Spur Ranch is bound to be a stunner. It’s one of my favorite venues in North Texas, with its pure Texas rustic elegance and, of course, the magnificent longhorns roaming about!, LSR fits this couple to a tee! After seeing their connection during this session, I know their big day will be brimming with love, laughter, and all the charm you could ask for.

Alexandre and Adrianna, thank you for an unforgettable day! I’m counting down the days until Lucky Spur Ranch. Y’all are something special!

Michael & Hannah | Engaged

Love, laughter, and a whole lot of fun—Michael and Hannah’s engagement session was truly unforgettable! With their wedding set for next fall at the gorgeous Lucky Spur Ranch, I just know we’re in for one incredible celebration of their love story.

I first met Michael and Hannah at the Lucky Spur open house, and right from the start, it felt like we’d known each other forever. Their down-home charm and those warm, easy smiles drew me right in. So when we planned their engagement shoot, I knew it would be special. What I didn’t expect was how much joy and laughter would fill the entire session!

These two brought along their precious pup, who deserves a blue ribbon for being the most well-behaved dog around. Even with all the excitement, their furry friend stayed calm, sweet, and camera-ready.

The laughter was nonstop. Michael and Hannah couldn’t stop giggling, and it made everything feel so natural and joyful. And y’all, those funny animal masks! They embraced the silliness, throwing on some hilarious expressions that kept us all cracking up. But the ultimate highlight? The eagle and American flag mask combo! #Merica, y’all! It was the perfect dash of playful patriotism.

I love it when couples show up as their true selves. Michael and Hannah did just that, making it a breeze to capture their love in all its real, laughter-filled glory. Now, I’m counting down the days to their Lucky Spur wedding next fall. It’s bound to be a day full of joy, and I’m so honored to be part of this sweet adventure!

Adam + Victoria | The Laurel - Grapevine, Texas

Adam & Victoria’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration, made even more stunning by the soft glow of the late afternoon sun at The Laurel. As the golden light filtered through the trees, it was clear this day was filled with love, laughter, and the legacy of dear friendships.

It’s been a true honor to be there for Adam over the years, capturing his journey through life’s milestones—from senior portraits to police academy graduation, sweet family sessions, and, of course, the beautiful moment he proposed to Victoria. Watching his story unfold has been a privilege, and being a part of his and Victoria’s wedding day meant everything to me.

Adam’s dad, a firefighter and dear friend of The Cowboy (my husband) passed away in early 2020, but his spirit was undoubtedly present. The legacy of our fire family runs deep, and even though Adam chose to serve as a police officer (we love him anyway, haha!), he will always be one of our own. Taking care of my fire family is one of my greatest joys, and sharing in this celebration was nothing short of special.

Adam & Victoria’s wedding was full of the vibrant, wild, and colorful energy they envisioned. Victoria was most excited about saying, “I do,” while Adam looked forward to their getaway car. God even blessed them with unexpected free Chick-fil-A, which was just one of many surprises. When the sound system had a hiccup, they rolled with a backup plan, proving that sometimes the best moments come from spontaneity.

Their color palette was inspired by their Texas A&M roots, with maroon as the main hue. As true Aggie grads, they incorporated meaningful traditions like playing the Aggie War Hymn and ending the night with “Good Night Irene” by Ernest Tubb, a nod to the Dixie Chicken in College Station.

They shared sweet first looks with their parents—Victoria with her dad and Adam with his mom—moments filled with love and a few tears. Victoria even walked down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, and their first dance to “With You I Am” by Cody Johnson was full of joy and romance. Their cakes were unforgettable, with an Aggie Ring cake in a maple bacon flavor they discovered as a delightful surprise during tasting. And let’s not forget Victoria’s choice of white cowgirl boots, perfect for comfort and dancing the night away!

At the end of the day, they felt relieved and happy to finally be together, stress-free, looking forward to a future full of holidays and quiet, quality time. Working with them was an absolute dream. Victoria and Adam, thank you for making Blackall Photography a part of your story and for keeping the laughs coming—even when it meant filling out one more questionnaire! Wishing you both endless adventure, deep love, and a lifetime of blessings. ❤️

A note from Kelly: I really love being there for my community y’all, and it warms my soul that Blackall Photography is the go-to for so many locals — THANK YOU. Elijah & Courtney | Engaged

There’s something truly special about watching a young man you’ve known for nearly two decades step into this new, exciting chapter of his life. Eli has grown into such a kind and joyful soul, and capturing his engagement with Courtney was pure magic!

Our session took place on a beautiful fall afternoon, with warm golden light spilling over the fields and that gentle Southern breeze that makes you take a long, deep breath and smile. It was a day meant for celebrating love, and Eli and Courtney brought just that. Courtney, with her quiet and gentle nature, complements Eli’s fun and easy-going spirit so perfectly. It’s one of those pairings that makes you nod and think, Yes, that’s how it’s meant to be.

Getting to witness this moment, see their joy, and capture these memories for Eli and his bride-to-be is a true honor. Courtney, I’m thrilled to get to know you better as we count down the days until your December wedding at the charming Barnett Estates. From what I’ve already seen, you’re a beautiful soul with a heart that perfectly balances Eli’s lively spirit.

Katelyn & Zach | Engaged

Capturing the love between Katelyn and Zach during their engagement session was such a heartwarming experience. Zach’s family holds a special place in our hearts, as they are part of our beloved Lewisville Fire Department family. Zach’s late father was a dear friend of my Cowboy, and it means the world to be able to support and celebrate our fire family through photography.

Katelyn and Zach’s session was full of laughter, warmth, and the kind of sweet moments that make engagement sessions so unforgettable. Katelyn, with her gentle and kind spirit, brought a radiant energy that matched perfectly with Zach’s easygoing nature. Of course, their adorable puppy completely stole the show, prancing around and making sure we were all entertained. The furry little scene-stealer added so much charm to the day!

I loved the way they kept their outfit choices classic and meaningful. For part of the shoot, Katelyn and Zach wore matching white tees and jeans, a simple yet timeless look that highlighted their playful chemistry. The scene shifted when Katelyn slipped into a stunning jewel-toned dress that contrasted beautifully against the natural backdrop. Zach complemented her perfectly with a polished button-down, and together they looked effortlessly elegant.

We made our way through some beautiful locations, from open fields with the golden light streaming in to cozy spots perfect for capturing sweet, candid moments. The way Zach looked at Katelyn—full of admiration and love—made every photo feel special. And when Katelyn flashed her warm, genuine smile, you couldn’t help but feel the love they share.

At the end of the shoot, we had a blast goofing around. Zach pulled out an eagle mask and posed next to Katelyn, who rocked heart-shaped sunglasses. It was the perfect, playful way to wrap up a day full of love and laughter!

As we captured each moment, I couldn’t help but feel immense gratitude for being part of these milestones in the lives of our fire family. Documenting Katelyn and Zach’s love story is a privilege, and I’m so excited to see where their next chapter leads. Here’s to a beautiful future filled with love, laughter, and maybe a few more puppy photo bombs!

Brianna + Brian | Wedding at Lucky Spur Ranch - Justin, Texas

Sunset at Lucky Spur Ranch | Justin, Texas

Brianna and Brian’s wedding day at Lucky Spur Ranch was like stepping into a classic Southern love story. The day began with a little Texas surprise—a downpour that seemed determined to shake up their plans. But, in true Southern style, they turned the rain into a blessing, moving the ceremony indoors, which created a cozy and intimate setting that felt as warm and inviting as the as family & friends we had surrounding us

The ranch was dressed in soft, romantic neutrals—champagne, midnight blue, and ivory with touches of greenery—that blended beautifully with the rustic wooden beams and wide-open spaces. Brianna’s vision of classic Southern elegance came alive, with each detail chosen to let the charm of the ranch shine through. Her planner, Shannon Gaston from Integrity Events and Design, worked magic with CoCo Fleur Events to bring it all together.

One of the sweetest moments was the first look- not only with the bride & groom but with the bride’s parents.. Brianna could hardly wait for Brian to see her in her dress, and when their eyes met, the love between them filled the room, bringing a quiet joy and stillness before the celebration.

Their vows and the sentimental songs chosen for each special moment, from walking down the aisle to their first dance to Chris Stapleton’s Joy of My Life, added to the heartfelt, down-to-earth romance of the day. Even with the rain, their wedding was filled with light, laughter, and warmth. As the night wore on, it seemed that with each new dance, Brian held Brianna just a little bit closer, their joy and love radiating from the dance floor to everyone watching. It was as if every song brought them deeper into this beautiful new chapter they’d begun together.

As the day went on, the rain finally gave way to a breathtaking sunset, drenching the landscape in a golden glow. We headed outside just in time to capture Brianna and Brian with the famous Lucky Spur Longhorns. That soft, golden light felt like a little gift at the end of the day, adding a touch of magic to an already unforgettable scene.

As the evening settled over the ranch, Brianna and Brian danced the night away, surrounded by family, friends, and the undeniable joy that comes from a love that’s true. At the end of it all, they left feeling blessed, happy, and just a little bit tired—a perfect end to a perfect day.

The incredible vendor team truly made this day come alive. Shannon & her team from Integrity Events and Design not only planned every detail but also provided bartending, making sure guests felt at home. Photography by Blackall Photography TX and videography by @tgriggs15 beautifully captured each precious moment. Lucky Spur Ranch was the perfect backdrop, with catering by Lonesome Spur adding a true Texas touch. CoCo Fleur Events created stunning florals, and BBJ La Tavola provided elegant linens that elevated the ambiance. Hair by @veronicutshair and makeup by @alexisjanemakeup made Brianna & her bridesmaids absolutely radiant, while @itsyournight kept the dance floor packed and lively with DJ and photobooth services. A super delicious cake from @Mandy’s Cakes, beautiful stationery by Minted Weddings, officiating by Loving Celebrations, and Brianna’s showstopper of a gown from Bridal Boutique all came together to make this Southern celebration unforgettable.

Victoria | Bridal

Now that the wedding day has come and gone, I can finally share these precious bridal portraits of our sweet friend Vic.

Victoria—though most of us know her as Vic—is such a special soul, and this bridal session was every bit as memorable as I expected it to be. I’ve known Vic for years, and while she’s always been a beauty, she’s never struck me as someone particularly girly. So, you can imagine my surprise when she arrived in the most breathtakingly feminine gown I’ve ever seen. This dress was a showstopper—elegant, soft, and flowing in all the right places. The off-the-shoulder sleeves framed her shoulders beautifully, giving her a show-stopping look. Her hair was styled to perfection, and her makeup was simply flawless. She carried a small bouquet, just enough to complement her dress without overshadowing it. And, in true Vic fashion, she completed the look with a pair of white Ariat boots, bringing that perfect Southern charm to the whole ensemble.

We wandered around the most picturesque spots, the Mediterranean-inspired views creating an absolutely stunning backdrop. With every twirl, her dress seemed to float, and I could tell she felt just as beautiful as she looked. We laughed, explored, and when the light started to fade, we captured some of my favorite moments—where her playful, goofy side came out. That’s the Vic I know and love.

I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that there was a deeper connection to this session. Her new husband’s father was a dear friend of ours, someone we lost far too soon. There was something so meaningful about photographing Vic in this season of joy, knowing how much he would’ve loved seeing her as a bride. It truly filled my heart and soul.

Julia + Sebastian | Paradise Cove Grapevine, Texas

Julia and Sebastian’s wedding day at Paradise Cove in Grapevine was nothing short of magical. Nestled by the serene Lake Grapevine, the venue provided a stunning backdrop that perfectly matched their rustic theme. The day was filled with special touches and personal moments that made their celebration unforgettable.

One of the most heartfelt moments came early when Julia shared a first look with her papa, a tradition that brought smiles and happy tears. While a first look between the bride and groom wasn’t initially planned, they decided to go for it, and it turned out to be one of the most comforting moments of the day. Being able to see each other before the ceremony eased their nerves and left them both feeling more confident, ready to enjoy every moment of their wedding day together.

From their first dance to River by Leon Bridges to the hand-crafted scrapbook guestbook, every detail of Julia and Sebastian’s wedding reflected their unique style and deep love for one another. As the newlyweds offered advice for future couples, Sebastian humorously noted, “Always listen to your woman!”—a tip sure to bring a laugh and a knowing nod from other grooms.

When the day wrapped up, Julia described feeling “full of love and joy, words cannot even describe!” The couple is excited to start their new life together, building a home and dreaming of raising children in the years to come.

Blackall Photography felt honored to be part of Julia and Sebastian’s special day. Julia’s kind words left us glowing: “I won’t ever need another photographer again because Kelly and Jenna were absolutely AMAZING!”

Congratulations to the beautiful couple! Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and joy.

Shared Table | 2024

A Night to Remember: The 2024 Shared Table Dinner in Old Town Lewisville

In the heart of Old Town Lewisville, under the soft glow of café lights, another unforgettable evening unfolded for the annual Shared Table dinner organized by the Old Town Business Association Board. This cherished event once again brought together local vendors, business owners, and community members for a night of connection, great food, and live music.

Wayne Ferguson Plaza was transformed into an intimate gathering space, thanks to the golden twinkle of lights provided by Mark Casteel, a local Lewisville firefighter and owner of Fire House Christmas Lights. The crisp autumn air made the evening even cozier as guests bundled up, clinked glasses, and shared in the joy of being together.

This year’s menu, carefully curated by some of Old Town’s finest, offered an incredible culinary experience. Guests were treated to a feast that showcased the talents of local chefs, complemented by signature craft cocktails from Bendt Distilling Co. as they arrived and enjoyed the night. From the first bite to the last sip, every dish reflected the creativity and heart of our community’s beloved restaurants and artisans.

Adding to the evening’s charm, the board enlisted the creative talents of Deborah, one of our own, to bring a unique seasonal touch to the tables. Instead of traditional florals, she adorned the space with her beautifully crafted, chinoiserie-style fabric-covered pumpkins, which she designs and sells locally. These elegant, fall-themed pieces added warmth and character to the setting, creating a festive yet sophisticated atmosphere that perfectly complemented the evening.

The magic of Shared Table wouldn’t be complete without incredible music, and this year, we were honored to have Radu Jon Cernat, an internationally acclaimed musician, singer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and remixer. Known as The Violin Guy, Radu’s electrifying performance blended classical elegance with modern beats, filling the plaza with an energy that set the perfect backdrop for conversation, connection, and unforgettable moments.

Beyond the food and festivities, the heart of this event lies in the people who make it happen. A massive thank you goes to the Lewisville High School Farmers—students, parents, and teachers—who handled setup, takedown, and serving duties with incredible dedication. Special recognition goes to the LHS baseball, football, and wrestling teams, drill team, and student council for their hard work behind the scenes. Their efforts ensured the night was seamless, and we are beyond grateful for their contributions.

As the evening came to a close, guests left with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and some fantastic swag bags courtesy of Kris-Tees. The Shared Table dinner is more than just a meal—it’s a celebration of community, collaboration, and the unique charm that makes Old Town Lewisville feel like home.

To our incredible board members and their supportive husbands, your dedication and teamwork made this event a success. Thank you for ensuring everything was perfect from start to finish.

And, of course, we extend our deepest appreciation to our 2024 Sponsors, especially the City of Lewisville, for their continued support of our local businesses and entrepreneurs. Please take a moment to support these outstanding local businesses that help make events like this possible!

Bekah & Michael | Engaged

There’s nothing quite like the glow of golden hour to capture the love between two people, and Michael and Bekah’s engagement session was no exception. We met at the most beautiful sprawling ranch, just as the Texas sun began to set, casting a warm, golden light over the entire landscape. The wide-open fields, rustic charm, and perfect light made it an ideal setting to showcase their love. It was truly the perfect backdrop for such a sweet couple and their special day.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Michael and Bekah as neighbors and friends, and I absolutely adore them both. Their love for each other shines through in every laugh, every smile, and every look they share. As we wandered around the ranch, stopping at various picturesque spots, it felt like time slowed down. Each moment was filled with an undeniable connection that was so natural, making it easy to capture their love in its purest form.

I feel moved to mention that Michael’s parents, Teresa + Mike, are also friends of mine, and though Mike is no longer with us, I felt his presence in those quiet golden moments of the session. I know he would be so incredibly proud of the man Michael has become and of the life he and Bekah are building together. His memory definitely added an extra layer of meaning to this already special day.

Congratulations, Michael and Bekah! I couldn’t be more excited for you both as you step into this next chapter of your lives. I’m so honored to have been part of this unforgettable day and to witness the start of what I know will be a beautiful journey together. Can’t wait for your wedding day!!

Not to be forgotten… To cap off the session, we had a little fun by doing one final silly shot — Blackall Clients…IYKYK— Michael and Bekah threw on some ridiculous masks just to keep things light. A good laugh is the perfect way to end such a heartfelt session!! 😂
